Drivers can now access essential delivery tools directly from their vehicle’s dashboard. That means less time toggling between devices, fewer mistakes, and safer hands-on-the-wheel, eyes-on-the-road workflows.

Whether your team is managing 5 stops or 50, Track-POD now meets them inside the cab, where it counts.

Why this matters for delivery operations

In last-mile delivery, speed matters. But so does safety. Until now, your drivers had to rely on mobile apps to manage routes, confirm deliveries, and stay in touch. Functional? Yes. Built for the road? Not quite.

Now, with Track-POD running on Android Auto (from v14.1.0a) and Apple CarPlay (from iOS v14.1.1), drivers can use their built-in vehicle screens to manage their day without taking their hands off the wheel.

The result?
✅ Safer routes
✅ Smoother workflows
✅ Instant access
✅ Happier drivers

And for you, the business owner or operations lead, it means fewer errors, better tracking, and more control from dispatch to doorstep.

Built-in workflows for Android Auto and CarPlay

When a driver connects their device to a compatible vehicle, Track-POD automatically loads an optimized in-car interface. It’s designed for clarity, safety, and speed with voice-ready controls and large, convenient buttons.

Note: Some advanced features, like capturing a customer’s signature, will still require switching to the full mobile app. But for most of the delivery day, your team stays hands-free and focused.

Here’s what the workflow looks like:

1. Assigned routes notification

As soon as the device is connected, drivers will see their assigned routes.

2. Start route

They can start the route right from the in-car display.

The same route will appear on their phone’s mobile app already fully synced.

3. View stops

Each stop appears in a clean, scrollable list:

4. Get directions

Turn-by-turn options to the next stop are available directly in the interface.

5. En route

As the driver navigates, the display updates automatically.

6. At the stop

When they arrive, they can tap Arrive, or call the customer directly.

In-app features at a glance:

  • Route list

  • Stop-by-stop display

  • Key actions: Start, Resume, Arrive, Depart, Load Check

  • Route stage visibility (e.g. before start, after finish)

  • Last 30 days of chat messages

Use case: Multi-stop fleets benefit from clear, tap-and-go options. No more guesswork, no more rechecking. Drivers always know what’s next—and how to get there.

Why this changes the game for delivery teams

This isn’t just a feature. It’s a performance upgrade for your entire last-mile operation.

Faster workflows

Drivers can move through their day without digging through their phones or jumping between tools. That means fewer mistakes, less wasted time, and more deliveries per shift.

Safer driving

Reducing screen interaction helps prevent distracted driving. Your business stays compliant in safety-first regions and your drivers stay protected.

Better visibility

The more your drivers use Track-POD’s features consistently, the better your data. From real-time ETAs to live route updates, you get a clearer picture of your fleet at all times.

How to get started

No special training needed. If your team can plug in a phone, they can use Track-POD in their dashboard.

Step-by-step setup:

  1. Update the app
Make sure drivers have the latest version of Track-POD installed:

    • Android: v14.1.0a+

    • iOS: v14.1.1+

  2. Connect to the vehicle
Use a USB cable or Bluetooth (depending on your vehicle). Track-POD will appear as an app icon in the vehicle’s display.

  3. Tap and drive
Tap the Track-POD icon to open the app. The driver’s full delivery workflow is now accessible via dashboard and voice assistant, if preferred.

Encourage drivers to use “Hey Siri” or “Hey Google” for navigation, messaging, and other voice-activated tasks while on the road.

Real-world use cases

This isn’t just about modernizing your tech stack. It’s about solving everyday problems that slow your fleet down.

  • Route accuracy for busy fleets
Eliminate delays by guiding drivers through assigned routes right from the car display.

  • Smoother onboarding for new drivers
Help new hires navigate routes confidently—even on their first day—with clear dashboard prompts.

  • Dispatcher visibility without the back-and-forth
Drivers stay in sync, and you get live updates and consistent app usage for better planning and reporting.

  • Compliance in safety-focused regions
Reduce legal risk and avoid fines in areas with strict distracted driving laws. Track-POD’s in-car support keeps you compliant without slowing you down.

For the road ahead

Track-POD on Android Auto and CarPlay isn’t a scaled-down version of the app. It’s the best parts—refined and rebuilt for the cab.

Because last-mile delivery doesn’t stop when the app closes. Your drivers live on the road, and now, your delivery software does too.
